Derse’s Favorite Impression – The Lasting One!
AUTHOR: Derse / February 14, 2019
First impressions are often deemed the most important but what about the last impression, better yet, lasting impressions?
Two of our in-house experts; Russ Fowler, Vice President of Marketing Environments, and Pete Riddell, Executive Creative Director Customer Experience, are teaming up in one story-filled session celebrating the emotional power of impression, at EXHIBITORLIVE. Together, they unpack the most crucial moment(s) in the attendee experience – creating lasting impressions.
We asked them to share a trend they see relevant to experiential marketing in 2019 and here’s what they had to say:
Executive Creative Director Customer Experience for Derse
“The mantra that I most want to resonate with my clients: leave room for the people.”
The most innovative companies in the world are pouring money and resources into new and better ways to connect. That said, the mantra that I most want to resonate with my clients: leave room for the people. The most emotionally resonant experiences I encounter (as a consumer) tend to involve human beings being awesome. So in this Golden Age, I don’t think it’s ever been more important to:
1. IDENTIFY what your audiences are truly hungering for, and then
2. EMPOWER human beings to be a central part of delivering memorable, emotionally-resonant, and relevant experiences.
Vice President of Marketing Environments
“When messaging is customizable to each visitor and aligned with corporate marketing, it both supports the corporate business strategy and enhances the customer experience.”
Branded content comes from many sources within an organization. Distilling so much information into a compelling customer experience is a significant challenge. When messaging is customizable to each visitor and aligned with corporate marketing, it both supports the corporate business strategy and enhances the customer experience.
We have to agree; when it comes to successful face-to-face marketing programs, it is all about the experience and the people.
