Nuance Communications, Inc. is a leading provider of voice and language solutions for businesses and consumers around the world. The company sought to demonstrate how their ambient clinical intelligence (ACI) solution for healthcare is putting conversation back in the encounter with clinical documentation that writes itself during Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2019. The annual trade show focuses on improving healthcare through information technology and management systems.
Strategies
From a design perspective, Nuance challenged Derse to create an environment that imparts thought leadership and innovative technology as a means to build and enhance relationships. The tone of the exhibit was to be one of authority, innovation, and cutting-edge technology—capturing how Nuance technologies, applications, and services make the user experience more compelling by transforming the way people interact with devices and systems.
Derse’s designers created a vibrant double-deck exhibit with various engagement and education opportunities. Demo units flanked the aisles and provided sufficient space for privacy, while allowing a clear pathway into the heart of the exhibit. The multiple demo stations educated attendees about how Nuance can increase the ability to spend more time serving patients and empower medical personnel to exponentially improve the healthcare experience.
