Derse Celebrates 70 Years

In 1948 the game Scrabble was introduced, Cheetos were invented, the Cleveland Indians won the World Series, and a dozen eggs cost $.79. And, in the summer of 1948, James F. Derse founded his company as a sign painting enterprise in Milwaukee.

Times have changed dramatically over the last 70 years, and so has Derse. We’ve evolved from a local paint and sign shop to a national, recognized leader in exhibits, events, and environments.

Derse’s talented and hard-working employees have been the key differentiator in the company’s growth over the last seven decades. Our memories of past accomplishments and plans for a bright future are certainly cause for celebration.
